The AKAM Genesis
System — AKAM's newest Internet-based communications
vehicle — is designed exclusively for the use of owners and
residents in AKAM-managed properties.
If your building isn't currently connected to the
AKAM Genesis System, speak with your Board members and ask them
to fill out a Genesis System Participation Form. It's as easy as
that.
PLEASE NOTE: Every building in the AKAM Genesis System
is password protected. In addition, no financial information will
ever be posted on or accessible through the AKAM Genesis System.
Naturally, your owners and residents will still be
able to get whatever finance-related information they need by speaking
directly to their Management Executive or to AKAM's Vice President
of Finance.
Through the Genesis
System, residents of AKAM-managed properties have immediate on-line
access to:
Time-sensitive notices and other
communications from AKAM
AKAM uses the Genesis System to post and maintain all time-sensitive
and other important notices for owners and residents of your building.
Of course, we continue to contact owners and residents through
standard communication channels, such as the U.S. Mail. But the
Genesis System provides yet another way for owners and residents
to keep informed.
Work Order Forms that can be transmitted directly
to your building staff
Building owners and residents can use the Genesis System to fill
out and submit Work Order Request forms. Once the form has been
filled out, the system transmits it to building staff for fast response
and tracking.
The Minutes of Board
meetings
In buildings where the Board has elected this option, owners and
residents are kept informed through the posting of Board meeting
minutes on the Genesis System. Of course, confidential financial
and legal information is omitted.
Central E-Mail for
Board members
In buildings where the Board has elected this option, owners and
residents are able to communicate directly with the Board through
the Genesis System's Board E-Mail function.
A buildingwide Message
Board
The AKAM Genesis System enables the owners and residents of AKAM-managed
buildings to post announcements and messages about items for sale,
babysitting services, etc., to their neighbors within the building
and even to residents of all AKAM-managed properties.
A buildingwide Residents
Professional Directory
Through the AKAM Genesis System, owners and residents of AKAM-managed
buildings are invited to participate in a buildingwide Residents
Professional Directory that lets their building neighbors know what
they do for a living and how their product or service can be accessed.
Of course, participation is voluntary.
Building Staff
Through the AKAM Genesis System, building residents have access
to building staff names, positions, and work schedules.
Corporate Documents
Through the AKAM Genesis System, building residents have access
to such corporate documents as House Rules, By-Laws, etc.

and Citywide Information, Weather, Traffic, and Travel Directions
The AKAM Genesis System lets owners and residents access neighborhood
and citywide information, as well as weather, traffic, and travel
directions, all without leaving the comfort of their own apartment.
