Before founding AKAM in 1983, Mr. Kaminoff was Director of Property Management and Assistant Director of Real Estate for Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. There, he oversaw the development of housing for hospital staff as well as the acquisition of property for use by the hospital.

Over the years, Mr. Kaminoff has developed a reputation for himself and for AKAM as the nationally recognized standard-bearers for superior residential management. An acknowledged industry leader and innovator, Mr. Kaminoff has authored numerous articles on building management; he was an Adjunct Professor at New York University's Real Estate Institute; and he is a frequent and highly sought-after speaker at local, regional, and national real estate industry gatherings. He is also author of the book, What To Expect From Your Property Manager, and co-author of the book, How To Choose The Right Management Company For Your Residential Property: A Decision-Maker's Guide.

In addition to serving the industry as a past Governor of the Registered Apartment Managers (RAM), Mr. Kaminoff's participation in the residential management arena includes active membership in the Associated Builders and Owners, Inc., the Association of Realty Managers, the Real Estate Board of New York, and the Community Association Institute (CAI).

Both Mr. Kaminoff and AKAM have been the recipients of numerous industry awards, including recognition from Habitat Magazine, The Cooperator, and the Associated Builders and Owners, Inc., among others, for outstanding achievements in Finance, Quality-of-Life, and Management Leadership.

AKAM Living Services President Mr. Michael Berenson is responsible for overseeing the operations of all companies under the AKAM Living Services umbrella. For AKAM On-Site, Inc., Mr. Berenson works closely with CEO Leslie Kaminoff and company president Ellen Bonder Lohr on client retention, new business development, and corporate strategy. Mr. Berenson is the recipient of numerous industry awards, including Habitat magazine's Management Achievement Award for Finance, which he has won twice.

Responsible for overseeing all of AKAM On-Site's day-to-day operations, Ms. Lohr works closely with AKAM Living Services CEO Leslie Kaminoff, AKAM Living Services President Michael Berenson, and all AKAM On-Site client Boards to ensure that the highest level of service is consistently delivered to every AKAM-managed property. A founding member of the Commercial Real Estate Women of Palm Beach County, Ms. Lohr is also a recognized authority in the fields of residential construction management and real estate development throughout Florida.

AKAM On-Site, Inc. Director of Operations Bob Dallin has been professionally affiliated with the provision of services to community associations in South Florida since 1974. Mr. Dallin’s impressive credentials include expertise in all aspects of corporate operations, community management, construction coordination, and landscape installation and maintenance. In tandem with AKAM On-Site President Ellen Bonder Lohr, Mr. Dallin is responsible for ensuring the smooth internal operation of AKAM On-Site, and the most efficient delivery of service from every member of the AKAM On-Site team to every AKAM On-Site client.

Laurel Robinson is in charge of AKAM On-Site, Inc.'s in-house Accounting and Finance Department, supervising the preparation of budgets and acting as a financial planner for all our client properties. Ms. Robinson and her staff of Financial Analysts work directly with property Treasurers and outside auditors to review finances and ensure that AKAM On-Site-managed associations are operating within their budgetary parameters.
